De baan verbindt de laaggelegen delen van de stad vlakbij de haven met de kasbah hoog op de berg waar de oude stad lag voor de aardbeving van 1960. De kasbah is net opgeknapt en geeft een van de beste panorama’s over de stad, de haven en de baai.
