Volgens bronnen geciteerd in krant Financial Afrik vinden de ondertekeningen van de overname in november plaats voor een bedrag van zo'n 185 miljoen dollar. Afriquia is in de jaren 1950 opgericht door de vader van de huidige premier van Marokko.
